Two essential wheel service machines in one package

The Atlas TC229 + WB11 combo brings tire mounting, demounting, and wheel balancing equipment together under one product number. It is suited to shops adding a tire service bay or replacing older equipment with a matched tire changer and balancer.

Atlas TC229 rim-clamp tire changer

The TC229 features a swing-arm design, adjustable clamping jaws with three mounting positions, and a built-in Beadblaster to help seat tire beads. The package includes plastic protectors, a tire tool, lube bucket and brush, an inflation box with gauge, and an oiler, filter, and regulator. An external compressed-air supply is required.

Atlas lists an external clamping range of 9¾–23¼ inches, an internal clamping range of 11⅝–25¼ inches, and a maximum tire diameter of 39 inches. The TC229 operates on 110V power and requires 90–110 PSI air supply.

Atlas WB11 computerized wheel balancer

The WB11 offers static and dynamic balancing modes, rapid optimization, self-diagnosis, and self-calibration. It includes four centering cones, a quick nut, wheel-weight pliers, and measuring calipers. Atlas lists support for 10–32-inch car and light-truck rims, wheel widths of 1½–20 inches, and wheels weighing up to 150 lb. Dimensions are entered manually.
